In honor of Dr. Franklin R. Sistrunk, every year for the last 26years we enjoy the Sistrunk Parade! This Parade is filled with Broward’s finest school marching bands, ROTC, steppers, and drill teams. The parade is filled with decorated floats sponsored by local business owners and politicians. This parade represents the richness of Broward’s multi-cultural flavor, diverse traditions, and features fun and excitement for the entire family! The Parade’s route will begin at Lincoln Park, located on NW 19th Avenue and end on NW 9th Avenue. Immediately following the Sistrunk Parade, the street will fill with patrons of our Urban Music Festival. Mark your calendars and join us so at this amazing community event.
