The YMCA of South Florida is a partner to two important HIV Awareness events in the community, organized by the BTAN (Black Treatment Advocates Network) collaborative – on Saturday, June 18th will be the 3rd annual HIP Community BBQ located at Provident Park from 12pm to 3pm. This event will have food and fun for the whole family!
Also, during this week, if you get a free HIV test at select locations you can receive a FREE TICKET TO CONCERT to see Trick Daddy, to be held on June 24th at the Lauderhill Performing Arts Center! The goal is to have 1,000 HIV tested – this is all in recognition of National HIV Testing Day.
