11th Annual YAA Teen Recycled Fashion Show: Tech Restyled

11^th Annual YAA Teen Recycled Fashion Show, Tech Restyled,  this is a fundraising event benefitting YAA Community Programs. Join us and support teens from YAA ArtHouse  who will have their recycled fashions strut down the catwalk. Each year, the show challenges participants to design an original garment, from concept to design, into original wearable art made from recycled and repurposed materials. This year’s teen designers will draw inspiration from the Museum’s featured exhibition, Hi-Tech/Lo-Tech, An Exploration of the Ever-changing Relationship between Art and Technology and explore styles from as far back as the industrial revolution, which has spawned the popular “Steampunk” fashion style, to futurism.
